One of the favorite past times that I share will my miniature pastry chef is watching baking shows. Eden’s favorite show is Nailed It, on Netflix.
In an episode of Nailed It, the contestants were tasked with making Emoji cakes and my confident little 4 year old was up for the challenge. She says, “Mom, lets make an Emoji cake!”
So we did it! Our cake turned out great! We married two 6 inch round yellow cakes with chocolate buttercream icing. We improvised in order to make our emoji shine, and used cookie icing for the face and heart eyes. Imagine a chocolate cream filled hostess cupcake! Yummy! 🙂
Nothing fills me with more joy than baking with Eden. She always chooses the unpaved path for our projects which enables my creativity.
